This is by far Cress' most popular glass kiln. It's octagon shape measures 17.5" by 9" deep, keeping it small while still being able to fit more.

Glass fusing kilns have elements on the lid as well as in the sides, thus insuring even heating on all sized pieces. 2000 degrees F (or Cone 03.) 3 year warranty. Standard kiln as priced above is equioped with Pyrometer and infinite controller - also available with optional Electronic control with LED readout.

CRESS Standard Controller - This kiln is equipped with an infinite control switch, high temperature pyrometer to aid in the firing process. The pyrometer consists of a heat-sensing device (thermocouple) connected to meter readout. This Pyrometer is especially important when working with glass to measure the progress of a firing and temperature of the kiln.

OPTIONAL Electronic 3 key Controller, LED readout display. The software of this controller has four user programs. Each program can have up to eight segments with each segment consisting of a ramp rate (in degrees per hour), a target temperature, and a hold time.
