Olympic 1814GFE Glass Kiln

Finally a square 1814 glass fusing kiln! Olympic's Square 1814GFE has space for a 16" square glass piece with inside dimensions of 18" x 18" wide by 14" deep. Great for the artist wanting to expand their work space but doesn't have a lot of room.

Olympic's glass fusing kilns have both lid and body elements. Elements in the firing chamber are used to evenly heat the glass piece and the lid element is used when fusing temperature is reached. Glass fusing kilns have a maximum temperature of 1700° F and generally are not as deep as pottery kilns because typically glasswork is done on one layer of shelving.
This 189GFE Square glass kilns comes with the 3 Key Digital controller as standard , a RTC 1000 controller can be added as an upgrade. Model comes with stand, two peephole plugs, lid wedge, instruction manual, and warranty card. Two-year warranty. Options include Quartz Porthole, a Punty (Bead) Door, and Furniture Kit.

	Shelf Kit includes: 2 shelves, 4 each 1 1/2", 1, 2" posts,1 lb. bag kiln wash, sq ft of ceramic Paper Not actual picture of shelf kit.	Bead Door is available as an open slot or flip-up style door. The front-loading style is perfect for jewelry making and wax burnout with its peaked roof and porthole for ventilation.	Quartz Porthole Allows the operator to view through a round 2" diameter quartz glass window and see within the kiln while it is firing. Maximum firing temperature 1700°F.	As shown in picture to the left. Flash Arm option provides a lid brace arm for flash venting and raking glass. The arm is positioned in front of the kiln for easy access and may be set with a clearance of 2 3/4" or 4" and it has a wood handle which keeps the Flash Arm cool for easy operation.
